Dead Remembrance Day: extra runs on some public transport routes

On the Dead Remembrance Day, November 20, extra runs or vehicles of larger capacities will be available on some Riga public transport routes to ensure comfortable transportation to Riga cemeteries.

Extra public transport runs will be organized on:

tram route No. 11;

trolleybus route No. 24;

bus routes No. 11, 19, 20, 29, 36, 37, 39, and 48.

Extra runs of buses and trolleybuses.

Tram No. 11 will run according to a temporary schedule all the day long, with intervals of 5-6 at the period of maximum passenger flow.

From 09.00 till 18.00 all buses on routes No. 11 and 19 will pass through Jaunciems cemetery in both directions.

For passengers’ comfort, there will be also bigger vehicles on bus routes No. 9, 12, 13, 20, 37, 52, 56 and trolleybus route No. 19.
